Loan Officer Certification - 45 Hours - $349.00

This is not a loan officer mill. Students will be taught how to properly originate loans, evaluate collateral, and make credit decisions. Emphasis is placed on state and federal laws and ethics.

Get step by step training from the “Dean” of mortgage lending, Mitchel Medigovich.

You will learn the evolution and revolution of mortgage lending. Classes will include hands on case studies of interest rate markets, mortgage markets, and housing markets. You will learn how to qualify a borrower in 10 minutes or less with the latest technology and how to evaluate the best loan products for a borrower. Studies will be made of main stream lenders and niche lenders. Lending laws will be studied. You will learn the methods of property valuation, risk assessment, and how to close loans.

Mortgage Broker Licensing Course - 24 Hours $325.00

This course fulfills the Arizona State Banking Department educational requirements for obtaining a Mortgage Broker License, in addition helping you prepare for the required Mortgage Broker Licensing Exam. It includes a session on how to prepare for an examination of your business and records from the Arizona State Banking Department.

You will be taught the statutes and rules that you must know to obtain a Mortgage Broker License in Arizona and to legally operate a Mortgage Brokerage Company. Learn about state required disclosures, how to maintain trust accounts, record retention requirements, and what steps you must take prior to hiring any employees.

Prerequisite: As per state regulations, you must have at least 36 months experience as a loan originator or similar position. You should be competent with vocabulary and mathematics of the mortgage industry. An exam will be given at the end of the course.

Preparing for an Examination by the State Banking Department - 3 Hours $199.00

Attention all new Mortgage Broker Licensees: you will be examined by the State Banking Department within 12 months of obtaining your license. BE PREPARED!

Learn what you need for your first examination. Find out what activities are prohibited, as well as what you need to have in your employee files and loan files. This class will give you step by step instruction on how to prepare your corporate records, trust account, and the required ledgers you must keep.
